Let me introduce myself:

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Hello! My name is Jason St. Claire, and I am excited to be your students’ new music teacher at Holy Ghost. Prior to Holy Ghost, I was the graduate teaching assistant in the College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media, focusing in Choral Conducting and Music Education.

Before moving to Omaha, I lived in Phoenix, Arizona and taught K-8 Music to 750 students at Desert Palms Elementary. I am excited to be in a school that offers smaller class sizes and allows for more instructional opportunities to students.

In addition to my duties at Holy Ghost, I am also the music teacher for Sacred Heart Catholic School, and am on staff at St. Cecilia Cathedral as the director of the boy’s choir for the Archdiocesan Children’s Choir. I also teach voice lessons and sing as a section leader/member of the Schola Caeciliana, an auditioned ensemble based at St. Cecilia Cathedral and under the direction of Dr. Marie Rubis Bauer. I am also an adjunct Professor of Music at Grace University and direct the Women’s Choir.
